Capri Pappalardo, OTR received her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Columbia University and a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech-Language-Hearing-Sciences & Psychology from Hofstra University. Her passion for pediatrics was recognized when she was awarded the 2019 G. Gordon Williamson Achievement Award for Excellence in Pediatrics during her CUOT graduation. Capri began working with SPOTS in 2018 as a Level II Fieldwork student but has been working with children with special needs since 2010. Her current area of specialty with SPOTS is providing home visits to families in the Long Island area. Capri is most passionate about providing a multi-sensory, play-based approach to help kids strive for their fullest potential. She loves incorporating imagination and creativity into her sessions and loves watching children defy the odds. In Capri’s free time, she enjoys baking allergy-friendly desserts, long-distance running, spending time with her dog, and hiking!
