Amy is the Director of SPOTS Orangeburg. She conducts evaluations, provides individual and group therapy sessions as well as parent education and school consultations.
Amy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy with a minor in Psychology from the University of Hartford. She has received training in many areas including Sensory Processing Disorder, Neuro-Developmental Treatment, Ackerman Institute for the Family Workshops, Aquatic Therapy, Therapeutic Listening, Integrated Listening Systems (iLs), and Handwriting Without Tears. Amy has provided treatment in various settings, including school-based therapy in both private and public schools and home-based therapy for infants and toddlers as an Early Intervention provider. Also, she worked as a staff occupational therapist at a private school for multi-disabled students ranging from three to fourteen years of age.
Amy resides in Orangeburg, NY with her husband and their son, Adam.
What do you like about being an OT?
“I have a special interest in working with children with sensory, regulation, social and emotional difficulties. I particularly appreciate the opportunity to work closely with families in a private practice setting.”
